I at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sumner with the pastor, Rev. Alvin Jeske, officiating. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery of Sumner Township. Emerson-Milnes Funeral Home was in charge of funeral services., She was born Maude Fortsch, daughter of William and Addie Adrian Fortsch on August 29, 1888 at the home of her parents seven miles south of Sumner in Bremer County.On Dec. 19, 1907 she was united in marriage with John Figanbaum at St. John Lutheran Church, Sumner.
