Two Peace River Rinks Played In Fairview BonspielTwo local rinks went to Fair-view last week to take part in the annual bonspiel there, the personnel of which was R. Baird (Skip), W. J. Andrews, A. C. Deal, Tony Tretick; J. R. Taylor (Skip). A. J.Duthie, A. McDonald and J. Paterson.Baird won one game in the Grand Challenge but was defeated in the second game by Johnston. In the Citizens’Competition he reached the semi-finals and then had to forfeit the game to Hopps in order to return to Peace River on Thursday’s freight.Tavlor was beaten in the first i game in the Grande Challenge by j Hanson, and in the Citizens’ had to forfeit his game in the semifinals to Proctor in order to get back to get back to town on Thursday.Hanson wron the Grande Chal-lange and Proctor the Citizens.
