Mr**-*50th AnniversaryNancy and Babe Romeroto build a new animal control building in Sutter County.The lifelong Yuba-Sutter residents have two sons, Randy in San Francisco and Robert in Idaho, and two grandchildren.RomeroYuba City residents Nancy and Robert “Babe” Romero celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends in Live Oak.She is the former Nancy Lefevre.The couple were married Feb. 29, 1964, a leap year, in Las Vegas and enjoy telling their children and grandchildren that they have really only been married 12 years.He is semi-retired from agriculture sales and was a member of the Lions Club for 17 years.She retired after 44 years with the California Department of Transportation as a state sign coordinator.She is a past president of thePink Ladies at Fremont Hospital.She also served as the first female reserve officer with the Yuba City Police Department and helped with the movement
