John I'uckettJohn Puckett, 44, of La wren ce-burg, Ind , died at 12 30 a.m. Sunday at Good Samaritan Hus* pitai, Cincinnati, where he was admitted an hour and half earlier. He had suffered a heart attack at his home Saturdaf morning.A native of Powell County. Ky.,Mr. Puckett was a World War II veteran and served 3? months oversea* with the 195th Infantry Regiment He received seven battle stars and the Purple Heart andwas discharged as a sergeant.During his residence in Middletown he was an employe of the Gardner Board and Carton Co and since 1945 was an employe of the Deer born Gravel Co. in Law*reaceberg.Surviving are his wife, Marge; two brothers, George and RobertPuckett, both of Middletown, andtwo sisters, Mrs Harrv Blangy of Middletown and Mrs, Hubert High-ley of Bedford, KFriends may eali at the Albert Mize residence, 22115 Pearl St., after noon Tuesday until noon Thursday when the body will be taken to the Meudowlawa Church of God to Ue in state until service*at 2 p m The Rev.
