Still at Work.Friday, Feb. 24, marks the 86th anniversary of the birthday of John Lewis lloskinson.and that gentleman,with the weight of all those years of the past on his stooping shoulders, is still at his bench in his harness store on the south side of the square as spry and as cheerful as a boy of 20.Mr. Hoskinson wa9 born in 1819, only ' a few miles from where George Washington first saw’ light, and exactly 86 years later. The old gentleman lias lived in Macomb nearly all his life working at the some trade that he is now’ master of. In early years his reputation as a maker of hand sewed harness was second to none in this section. Mr. Hoskinson is hearty and strong for his age and he has the best wishes of the Journal and his many friends that he may pass the century mark by many years.
