PFEIFFER SET FREE.Secures liberty by I*routining to leave tbe iBtAte Nbvcr to Return.Tony Pfeiffer, who escaped a five years sentence to Anamosa by promising to leave the city, and who broke that pledge and was arrested, was before Judge O’Donnell yesterday.He made a piteous plea for liberty, pleading for forgiveness for breaking vhis pledge, for the reason he had returned to • visit . his relatives. He ^promised to l^ave never to return and on that condition was released being .-given two hours to bid a permanent farewell to his people.
