It will be built according to plans drawn by Mr. Alger, the architect, and when completed will be one of the handsomest affairs of the kind in southern Ohio, something the church, as well as the gentleman who drew the plans, will have reason to be proud of. The tower will be 317 feet high, 50 feet higher than any other tower or 6teeple in the city. It is the intention of thov church people to put a large clock in the’tower,they furnishing the clock and putting itin, provided the city will take care of it after it is in shape. This, we believe, is the custom in other cities. A petition to that effect will likely- be presented to council in the near future and will probably be accepted.
