Mr. Phillips was employed with Western Gear Corp. in Lynwood tor 19 years • until his retirement in 1961. lie was also with Consolidated Lumber Co., Wilmington, and free lanced in the lumber business until World War II.The J. H. Loomisescame to Long Beach In 1926. Mr. Loomis retired in 1959 as a chemist for Richfield Oil Company.The Edwin EssweinsA family dinner party honored Mr, and Mrs. Edwin Esswein on their golden wedding anniversary.The couple has three sons, Fred Esswein of Cin-cinnatti, Ohio; W. E. Esswein of Long Beach and Carlton Esswein of In-wood, W.
