The party was planned bv their three sons, Milo, Jr., and Gregory Davis.An informal evening of visiting was enjoyed andwere taken by Mr. Glenn Love. A number of gifts of .silver and other lovely gifts and cards were received by the honorees from their relatives and friends in remembrance of the occasion.Refreshments were served bythe hosts, assisted by Mesdames Howard Hoffman, Harry Anderson, Ralph Pestotnik, Ross Davis, Rov Davis and Glenn Love.Several of the couple’s relativescould not he present; the John Davis family and Kenyon Hoffman because of illness. U. E. Burroughs, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. The couple's attendants were Mr. and Mrs, Robert R. Parks. no*v of Bell Gardens. Calif., uncle and aunt of Mr. Davis. Mrs. Da-\;s was the former Miss Ruth Jones, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Jones. Mr. Davis’ parents are Mr. and Mrs. Roy Davis.Mr. and Mrs. Davi* have always lived in Boone county and since their marriage Mr. Davis has been engaged in farming. Besides their three aons, the couple has one granddaughter, Cynthia Sue Davis who was present for the anniversary celebration.
