ANNIVERSARYMARRIAGEDRAWS CROWDMr. and Mrs. Chris Skaar Cele-Lu\but.aMiltallW*‘lt;Bill\talint* i'ISinbrate Silver Wedding Anniversary at Home in Hayward,Sunday., ^otitheVl8viaPitHli■ ....Mr. and Mrs. Chris Skaar’s 2f,th wedding anniversary occurred last Sunday and the relatives and a Tew friends gathered at the Skaar home and took possession of the house andgrounds, while the family were attending confirmation services in Oakland so ttiut when Mr. and Mrs. Skaar returned from church, the yard was full of people and automobiles and they were greeted on all sides'Withcongratulations and the wish of many happy returns of the day. Very soon, luhcti was ready and all jnarehtd j around the well filled tables and filled j their plates, it proved to he a family reunion, as well as a Silver Wed ding, as there were relatives present from Minneapolis, Albert Lea, Austin. Spring Valley, Myrtle, Hose Creek, Freeman nhd Hartland. After the dinner, the neighborhood club came and joined the festive crowd adding to the already numerousLisutil111piintoilt;*1inbjoflutguests.Mrs. Skaar donned her bridal gown and veil and Mr. Skaar the “conventional black” and with the former bridesmaids Ittga Skaar Nelson and Jennie Natvlg-lloverson, and best men J. C. Staige and C. K Knutson,made the bridal procession from thehouse onto the front lawn, where] m Kev. Fritz made a few fitting remarks. •Itev. Fritz also presented Mr. iyid Mrs. Fritz with a set of silver spoons) s from the Neighborhood Club and a silver purse from the others. Mr. Skarr thanked his guests for their kindness in coming to help celebrate the anniversary, also for the gifts. Lunch and Ice cream and coffee were again served.
