And when that shut down, people lost jobs, and it became poverty.Supporters from across the region attended the event, including former Cambria County Commissioner Douglas Lengenfelder.“One thing I like about Donald Trump is that I believe him,” Lengenfelder said. “You may not agree with everything he savs. but 1 don't have to worn* nrabout whether he's King or not.Opponents, too, gathered at Alumisource to speak outagainst Trump, who will likely face Democrat Hillary Clinton, Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Jill Stein in the general election.“In my opinion. And he doesn't care about people’s rights besides the stereotypical white .American male.Fellow anti-Trump protestor Brennan Aldrich expressed similar feelings, saying he was at the event “To stand up for what I believe in, and what I believe in is equality, what I believe in is the chance at a new life. America, that’s what we are, right? We re that chance to make life better. “That's what we are, right? Some in attendance questioned what Trump or other politicians could do to help communities such as Monessen and Johnstown.“It’s not just him * Mones-sen's James Carter said. “I don’t think we have nobody to vote for.
