Mr. and Mrs. C. FrankenfieldWEIRTON - Charles H. and Simone A. Frankenfield of Weirton celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary June 4. They were married in 1943 at the Methodist Church in LaPlata, Md.Frankenfield, son of the late Charles and Miriam Frankenfield, is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II and retired from National Steel Corp. in 1980 with 33 years’ service.His wife is the daughter of the late Frank and Simone Hale. She retired after 15 years’ service as a secretary at Weir HighSchool.They are the parents ofthree sons: Tim of Weirton, Terry of Follansbee, and the late Charles H. Frankenfield III. Three grandchildren complete their family.
