History of Jackson TownshipCompiled by the Senior Class of the Burnetteville High School in American Government Uuder Directionof Miss Frances Bunnell.Alter the fire in 1916 the entire west block was rebuilt of modern brick buildings. The north building is occupied by the State Bank. The middle building wa- occupied by A. F. Gal-breath until the William Bcshoar Co. took charge. J. J. Buchanan had the south building for his hardware store and conducted a vitv •oit'ct sul business until inwhich is still standing today. At the time there was added to the course of 'Indy, history, geography. and grammar.
