The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Swenson, Ridgeland.The Rev. Roger Benrude officiated at the service for which the toride wore a floor length gown of white linen featuring an Empire waistline and Chantilly lace appliques at the bell sleeves, bodice and A-line skirt. A detachable train of Chantilly lace swept from the gown’s back.A pillbox held the bride’s shoulder length veil of lace and seed pearls, and she carried a cascade of yellow roses and stephanotis.Miss Nancy Donaldson, Minneapolis, was maid of honor and Julene Goodman, also Minneapolis, bridesmaid. Juliene Swenson, the bride’s sister, was junior bridesmaid.The attendants wore matching floor length gowns of mint green linen, featuring A - linestyling, Empire waistline and accents of mint green ribbon.They carried white carnations feathered with mint green, and wore matching headpieces.Eugene Swenson was best man and Jan Swenson, groomsman.
