Limited last Sunday noon to make a bos tour of the Canyon Country. It was an'event in the annals of Wellsboro history to have a train arrive on the old NTC rails at the depot, unused for many years for. that particular purpose, a station for passengers to alight from a railroad train. The .first saeh event tbat„ has happened for 18 years, according to Manford Hart, Wellsboro’s Mayor, who welcomed the group with a few remarks, upon their arrival here.The party were met by members of the Chamber of Commerce, who arranged for bus transportation through the courtesy of Myron Wilson and Everett Gillctt Shown above are the buses waiting to take Their on the scenic* rifle.
