The S. H. Brandi family held their reunion at the shelter house in the park Sunday, June 12 with a picnic dinner at noon. Mrs. Robert Papenfuss was chairman .and Mrs. Axel Rasmussen secretary. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Herman Brandt Dale and Deann, Mr. and Mrs. John Brandt and Jeane, Allair Farrow and Ardis Bunksmeler, all of Ledyard, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Seitz and family of Hiawatha, George Seitz, Mrs. Axel Rasmussen and Vance, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hildebridle and Barbara of Waterloo, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Brandt, Monte and Verl of Iowa Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sampson and Cleon Miller of Stratford, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Papenfuss and Beverly Bennett and Fred Lamprey, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Brandt and family, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Taber and family all of Hubbard. The meeting will be held the second Sunday in June 1956 in the Hubbard park shelter house with Mrs. Clarence Brandt as chairman and Mrs. John Brandt as secretary,Mr. and Mrs. Arend Tjarks of Ellsworth were Friday evening callers in the Fred Tjarks home.Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Bachmanentertained the following peopleSunday as a Father’s Day courtesy to their fathers, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hutchens and girls of Marshalltown, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Beas-ley^ of Lawn Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bachman, Andrew Bachman and Mr. and Mrs. Basil Bachman.
