Quiel Anniversary Day Will Be Observed June 26Mr. and Mrs. William A. Keefer of 1302 8th Ave., Sterling, willquietly observe their 80th weddinganniversary Monday, June 28 Mrs. Keefer was the former Racy Thurm before they were married in Chicago June 26. 1901. They havelived most of the time in Sterling except for a few years in Moline and in farming near Harmon.Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Keefer, all living except the oldest, Mrs. Herbert DoeringSr. (Mabel) of Prophetetown who passed away in September 1949. The other children are Ezra of Tampico, John of River Forest. Elmer of Pharr, Texas. Roy of Sterling, Mis. William Heide Jr. (Ethel) of Rock Falls. Mrs. Leon Worth (Katherine) and Mary J. K. Wie-gand of Sterling.
