TWENTYflflH ANNIVERSARYH. W, Westplidlen and Wile Celebrate Silver Wedding Anniversary Sunday at TReir Home.Sunday, June I8tb. was the twenty-fifth wedding anniversary of Mr, and Mrs. H. W. Westphalen, who reside 8 miles north of this city and the occasion was made joyous. The worthy couple have been residents of this county sine© coming from Germany 21 years ago and have resided on the same farm since that time. They are well known and several hundred invitations were issued. About 300 guests were present and the festivities lasted all day and well into the nightA platform was built in the yard where an orchestra furnished music and dancing took place in the evening. Tables were arranged in the house so they might accommodate fifty people at one time, and meals were served from noon until midnight.Mr. and Mrs. Westphalen were married in Holstein, Germany, June 19th, 1880 and came to America in 1884 and pm chased their farm where t they now live. The day was a most . pleasant one to those attending and i all left with best wishes to Mr. and Mrs Westphalen that they might live to celebrate many similar occasions.
