Karr Home Is Scene of Party Celebrating 25th AnniversaryC7€1lt;lt;I Cv«/-Mr. and Mrs Fred C. Karr entertained with a party Tuesday evening in their beautiful new home on Kensington road. Preceding an evening of bridge a dinner pariv was given at Chases’ on the West Lafayette rd. Beautiful flora! arrangements combined with miniature silver plastic trees centered the tables.Bridge was enjoyed in the Karr home with score favors going to Mrs Fred C. Shipps. Mrs. Perry L Engle and Mrs. Ralph Haymaker for the women, while themen's top scores were held by Milton William^. Lloyd S. Leech and Walter J Bieber.Highlighting the party was theappearance of Miss Georgia Shrig-lev of Canton, niece of Mrs Karr, talented coloratura soprano.Miss Shrigley was accompanied here by her mother. Mrs. H. B. Shrigley of Canton. As Mr and Mrs. Karr descended the stairs at 11 oclock. Miss Shrigley sang “O Promise Me.” “Thru the Years.” and “At Dawning,” the same numbers her mother sang when the Karrs were married 25 years agoyesterday in Grace Methodist church. In conclusion Miss Shrigley and Milton Williams, who accompanied her on the piano, sang a duet. “I Love You Truly.”When Mr. and Mrs. Karr, the former Madge Mohler. descended the stairway, she was wearing a white gown, the traditional wedding veil and was carrying a shower bouquet. When she threw her bouquet it was caught by her daughter-in-law. Mrs. Keith K Karr of ColumhusMr. and Mrs. Karr have two sons. Keith of Columbus and Lt. Bruce Karr, who is stationed withthe army in Germany.Mr. and Mrs. Keith K Karr, Miss Edna Mohler and Miss Lillian Mohler presided at the punch bowl. A gift was presented the Karrs by the group, and a two-tiered cake was also given them bv Mr. and Mrs. Chase1
