Two Share Honors at Outdoor Birthday PartyThe picnic grounds of Haven Park were the scene of a delightful party given Friday evening honoring the birthdays of Mrs. A. McElvian and W. O. Gowan. El-vin Shaver and Jo Griffith, owners of Haven Park, acted as hosts for the celebration.Gowan, who has served 14 years at the park, was marking the anniversary of his 70th birthday; and both he and Mrs. McElvian were presented with n large array of beautiful gifts. Entertainment in the form of swimming, rides and games also was enjoyed by approximately 60 guests from Wichita Falls, Fort Worth, Corpus Christi, and Madill, Okla.At midnight, the evening washighlighted by a fish fry given byMr. and Mrs. L. T. Richardson, Mr. and Mrs. Jo Griffith and Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Shaver.
