All Master Masons are required to attend.Dr. and Mrs. Crain Celebrate Golden Wedding Anniversary jDr. and Mrs. N. W. Crain cele- j brated their 50th wedding anniversary at their home here Tuesday evening, when a large number of their relatives and life-long friends attended open house.This joyous occasion was made more impressive by the simple but artistic array of decorations, which included flowers in profusion, aside from the display of beautiful gifts, all of which only too feebly indicated the great affection and high esteem in which Dr. and Mrs. Crain are held by those who have known them longest.In the receiving line were Dr. and j Mrs. Crain and her two sisters. Mrs. Georgia Burrell of Borger and Mrs. A. M. Cram of Goodnight. Mrs. N. M. Flynt asked the guests to register in the guest book.In the dining room, a scene of which appears above, was the cake in the shape of a huge wedding ring, with white icing and decorated in»llow roses. Mrs. Gculd Whaley rved the cake, while Mrs. C. A. *iood poured the punch. The table was laid in a beautiful lace cloth, decorated in yellow gladioli, snapdragon. calla lillies and fern.Always a hospitable home, cordiality was even more pronounced by the many old friends at so happv an occasion. Congratulations andbest wishes for many more years ofmarried happiness together were extended unanimously.Dr. and Mrs. Crain were married on June 18, 1890, in KaufmanCounty, near Kemp, at the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. N. M. Berryman, wdth Bro. Wilson, Baptist minister, performing the ceremony. They made thier home in Spanish Fort, where Dr. Crain had been practicing medicine for a year before their marriage. They later moved to their present home in Nocona, where they have been living some 32years.There were nine children in their family, four sons and five daughters. Two are deceased, being Newell B. Crain, captain in the U. S. Armv, and the youngest child, Joi n A. Crain. Those living are Harold Crain. Nocona: Mrs. C. G. Gardner, Sentinel. Oklahoma; Robert K Crain. Longview attorney; Miss Carmen Crain. Port Worth; Mrs. H. A. McCabe, Fullerton California; Mrs. W. J. Stone, Nocona. and Mrs. W. L.
