LETTERS TO THE EDITOR.Let C. C. Loder Take the Cake.To the Editor of the Indianapolis Journal:I would say that I was one of Indiana’s boy volunteers. Was born January 11, 1850, and enlisted October 19, 18G3, in Company '*K, Ninth Tndiana cavalry, Ono Hurdred and Twenty-first regiment. Was captured by General Forrest at Sulphur Trestle, Ala., September 25, 1SC4; was held prisoner until about the 1st ,of April, 18G5. Am survivor of the ill-fated steamer Sultana, by which about 1,700 brave boys were lost.Until I read Lodor’s statement T thought I was the youngest volunteer from Indium*, but he may take the cake by twenty-three days.I didn’t do much fighting, but iny full share of “blowing.
