Camp Hill, was killed in Korea on June 2 has been received by his wife, Nancy.In Korea with the 27th Infantn Division of the 8th Army since July, 1950, he was with a machine gun battalion when hr was killed.lit. Sykes entered the service in the summer of 1945. receiving his commission in the regular Annv at ter his graduation from Gettysburg College. He was recipient of the bronze star medal with the letter V device.He was a son ot Mrs. Blair Sykes of Fairfield, in addition to his wife he leaves a three-months-old daughter. Susan Lee.
