Marrs celebrated their- seventieth wedding anniversary Tuesday June 17th at their home,; ?03 West Ridge avenue, ;by keeping open house from 2:30 to 5 p: m. to their many friends and relatives. - ■Members and relatives of the family met at the noon hour when an elaborate covered dish luncheon was served. The large dining table was centered with two large cakes with pink and white frosting. Rev. C. B. Pace returned thanks after which a tribute to Mr. and Mrs. Marrs was made by C. V. Caster.Relatives of the family present were, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Hill, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Marrs and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Marrs, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Davis and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Caster, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Pace, Mr. and Mrs. Doy Clark and family, Mrs. W. A. Carlton, Mrs. Mary Ingram and daughter, Carrie, Mr. and Mrs. Guffrey Gladden and two children, Vivienne and Gene, of Western Grove, Mrs. Alfred Wilson and Mrs. J. Grim and daughter of Green Forest, Miss Louise McClellan of Cane Hill, Mrs. Robert Kelley and three daughters of Dock Springs, Miss Helen Davis, Charlec.
