THIRTEEN PRISONERS FROM GRAYSON COUNTY OFF FOR HUNTSVILLESHERMAN. — Thirteen prisoners under sentences ranging from 1 to 198 years in the penitentiary left Sherman Tuesday morning in chargeof Bud Russell, penitentiary agent. Included in the group were WilliamHarvey Blassingame, convicted intwo cases of robbery with firearms and sentenced to 99 years in each case; Sammie Wyatt, negro, convicted of the murder of George Andrews. negro, near Bells, and sentenced to 15 years, and George Cornell. Denison negro, sentenced to seven years following conviction on a statutory charge.j he others in the group received sentences of 1 to 5 years on minor criminal charges, these including automobile theft, violations of the liquor laws, swindling and similar offenses.
