Returned Home Broken in Mind.*. .Mi irs I mi Henry Day. of Attica, arrived in the city Friday night with Dan Maudlin, of this city, who has for the thinl time lost his reason. .Maudlin, who is a. printer, has for some time been working in a. newspaper of lice at Att ica, and although lie lias hern acting strangely for sonic* lime, his condition was not thought serious until recently. The authorities of A turn decided to send .Maudlin to the Central insane hospital at Indianapolis, but in his right mind he pleaded to he brought to Kokomo, saying he had a. brotherliving here who would take care of him. This was done, and on arriving Friday night he was taken to the home of ids brother, Milo .Maudlin, on Fast Sycamore street. I.ater lie* was placed in the hospital at the jail. On arriving there he immediately went into another spasm and the attention of a. physician was required.Maudlin's condition is pitiable. He has twice been sent to the insane hospital and in all probability will be sent there the third time*. Twic**lie was discharged as cured.—Koko-*mo Dispatch.
