LANDRYLeo VincentLandryJuly 1,1935 -May 13,2008Leo Landry was born on JulyI, 1935 to Bernard andDorothy Landry in Hanston, Kansas.Leo graduated from Hanston HS and went to work in the family business of custom harvesting and building houses. Leo served two years in the Korean War,He married Louise Gleason in 1959. Leo moved his family to Cheyenne Wells, CO and on to Simla in 1963where he continued as a carpenter, farmer, andrancher. In the 70s, Leo built and remodeled homes as a General Contractor in eastern Colorado. He later worked in real estate before retiring in Chino Valley, Arizona.Guns were Leo’s passion.He was a member of local gun clubs and competed.He is preceded in death by his father Bernard Landry.He is survived by his mother Dorothy Landry; five children, Cheryl Clowser,Pat Landry, Curtis Landry, Tom Landry, and Kevin Landry; five siblings, Francis Landry, Rose Reinert, Theresa Robertson, Mike Landry, and Steve Landry; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.A memorial service will be held June 20,2008 at 10:00 am at the Catholic Church in Hanston, KS. Internment will follow at the Hanston cemetery.
