Seville, the bride’s great-uncle, May 18, 1957, at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Ashtabula.The couple’s children are Barry of Canfield; Joel and Wendy of Ashtabula; Amy and son-in-law Steve Tannish of Chesterton, Ind.; and the late Clay Shick. They also have seven grandchildren.Mr. Shick is a Navy veteran of the Korean War and was a local hardware merchant for many years. He retired from truck and tour bus driving. Mrs.Stevenson-LaveckLucinda Lynne Stevenson and Peter J. Laveck Jr. are engaged to wed. The engagement is announced by the couple’s parents, Tom and Maryann Stevenson and Peter and Debbie Laveck, all of Ashtabula.The future bride, a 2001 graduate ofMR. and MRS. MARVIN SHICKShick was a pianist, organist and music teacher. They attend Ashtabula First Assembly of God.
