Observances Mark 50 YearsMR. AND MRS. WILLIAM ARMGA (Leedom photo)Mr. and Mrs. William C.Armga are celebrating theirGolden Wedding Anniversary during June by entertaining the various organizations of which they are members.Mr. and Mrs. Armga were married June 24, 1920, at Fond du Lac, Wis.Mr. Armga was born at LeRoy, Wis., and Mrs. Armga at Waupiin, Wis. They were childhood sweethearts, Mr. Arma spent two years in the Army during World War I. He was with die 32nd Division, 121st Machine Battalion of Fond du Lac. He served in the front lines, Alsace Sector, Aisne Marine offensive, Oise Aisne offensive, Meuse Argonne offensive and four months with the Army of occupation. He enlisted April 30, 1917, and received his discharge May 22, 1919.They fanned for one year with Mr. Armga’s father and brother, then moved to Fond du Lac in 1921. In 1925, Mr. Armga became interested in construction work and they spent 18 months in Washington, Pa., then returned to Kenosha, Wis.In August of 1930 they came to Idaho, where Mr. Armga has been employed by various contractors, Ear! Felt and Tony Bobier, W. F. Porter and Fred Read. He was employed for the two years of the building of Sun Valley by the McNeil Construction Co.Miss Planansky Is Bride OfHerbert SnoeyRICHFIELD - The RichfieldMethodist Church was the setting for the marriage of Carolyn Powell Planansky and*n ___ ■During World War II he worked in Las Vegas, Nev., and Clearfield, Utah, near Ogden. Ill health caused him to retire in 1961.Mr. and Mrs. Armga are parents of three children, Larry Armga and Mrs. Walker Carr, Twin Falls, and William Lee Armga, Meridian. They have 13 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.They are members of the Royal Neighbor Lodge, Veterans of World War I Barracks and Auxiliary at Jerome, Golden Age Club and Senior Citizens Card Club, andMrs. Armga is a member of the American War Mothers, Past Oracles Club and Wednesday Afternoon Card Club.Mr. and Mrs. William L. Armga will host the Golden Age Club at a celebration June 26 at the DAV Hall, Many friends of the couple have been invited. Dorothy Bryson and the Old Time Fiddlers will furnish music for dancing.
