Weekes, the bride's sister, as maid of honor, and Miss Ann Ment-zer, . of Akron, Mrs. Robert-Little, Jackson’Heights, Long Island, N, Y., the groom's sister, Miss Jane Hodpes, of Marysville, and Miss Betty Riffe, of Charleston, rW. Va., .and was- met at the chancel rail by' the‘groom, 'and his brother, Sydney .Cowlin, of. New York;City.' ..The-.ushers were.'Howard .Mc^hllahi-fof Pittsburgh, William P. Bramlett, of Glendale, Pa., John Bishop, of Boston, Mass., and IJobert Little,' of Long Island, N. Y.. The bride wore • a beautiful gown of' ivory satin, trimmed with real Belgian. Brabante. lace. The bodice had a. heart shaped neck and the' short sleeves were trimmed with the lace which was also used around the hem of .the. very full -skirt, worn over, a hoop, and edged the long train. The same exquisite lace' was used as a head dress to liold'her fingertip veil.She carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley.. Miss Weekes wore yellow embroidered mousse! aine de soi and the bridesmaids were gowned in green mousselaine de soi with, yellow panels in the front of the gown. Old fashioned bouquets were carried by all the attendants,A reception at the Woman's club followed the church ceremony. Mrs. Weekes, the bride’s mother, received her guests in a gown, of delphinium blue jersey with an orchid corsage.Mrs. Cowlin the groom's mother wore black chiffon with white orchids. The bridal table, had a three-tiered wedding cake and tapers in silver candelabra as the decorations. Roses, peonies and. candles decorated the buffet table.Mr. Cowlin and his bride left later on a wedding trip and after June 22 will be at home at 419 West Perry st., Buffalo, N. Y„ For travel the bride ware a brown and white sheer coat and dress and a matching hat.The former Miss Weekes is a grad-[uate of Mount Union Academy and Ohio State university. Her sorority Is Delta Gamma.
