Sparrow Family Reunion.Tho first Sparrow family reunion was held at Dimond Lake, Wednesday. Thorn wore between seventy-five and ono hundred prosont and a very enjoyable day was passed. A bountiful dinner was furnished by tbo ladies and in the afternoon a program consisting of songs, recitations, story-tolling and an addrOBS by R. B. Wood of the News and Trolly. There woro small, big, short, tall, old, young and in fact all kind of Sparrows in attendance, all ot them being dccendeuts of Richard Sparrow who came to this county from Ohio in tho early days. He had fourteen children and ouly one,Geo, Sparrow, was in attondauce. Ho was a former Kimmell resident but is now making his homo in Goshen.Those in attendance camo from Kimmell, Wolf Lake, Goshen, Columbia City, Millereburg, Ligonior and vicinity around Dimond Lake.They decided to make an annual affair and Edd Sparrow, Trustee of York township, was ekotod president — Cromwell News. .
