James Gow went to Seymour this morning to be examined before the pension board. Mr. Gow is a resident of Union township. He was on the steamer Sultana when she was riddled on the Mississippi river by an explosion and out of about 2,000 passengers all but 700 perished. A great number of the crew were drowned.
