Oscar Cooke Buys Parkview StationWill Eliminate Night Club and►Liquor Business; Son-in-Law to Manage.The sale of the Parkview eafe and service station across from Simpson park by Jack Thomas toMayor Oscar O. Cooke was announced today.Cooke club andnearby liquor store wouhTTS eliminated and that improvements would be made to make the locationinto a super service station and cafe. The business will change hands July 1.Cooke’s son-in-law, Chet Windle, now of Denver, Colo., will manage the station. Ellen Gash, who has been as the Parkview, will operatethe cafe part.All piodem gasoline pumps will be installed and_the stotion will be equipped to hanoie all types of service. Cooke said the location now has sufficient space to handle facilities, with the elimination of the night club.
