Paynes Note 25th YearMr. and Mrs. Lester Payne, 260 E. Main St., McComb, celebrated their silver wedding anniversary at a family dinner in In-gall’s Restaurant, Bluffton, Saturday night.The couple’s children arranged the celebration.The former Oneda Winover and Payne were married June 13, 1952. The Rev. Claude Chivington performed the nuptials in the Evangelical United Brethren Church of West Leipsic, now the United Methodist Church.Children are Mrs. Donald (Bonnie) Smith, Mrs. James (Jill) Smith, Joyce and Jack. There is one grandson.Mrs. Payne is the daughter of Gladys Winover, Leipsic, and the late Harry Winover. Payne is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilber (Jessie) Payne, North Baltimore.
