26 INDIANS OFF ONHIGHWAY MARATHONBy United PressSAN FRANCISCO, June 14.—Twenty-six bronzed marathon runners, the fleetest of some dozen Indian tribes of the West, started here today on the second Redwood Empire marathon run of 482 miles from San Francisco to Grants Pass, Ore.A pistol shot fired at 10:20 a. m. sent the runners from the starting line in front of the City Hall here.
