The golden wedding day of Mr. and Mrs. SilaB B. Woolson occurred on Thursday and was celebrated by their children, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Davis and Mr. and Mrs. John B Woolson, in a most delightful manner.All the relatives within a radios of 200 miles were invited to be present at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Davis on Elm street to partake of a wedding feast commemorative of the one which took placefifiy years ago when Miss Nancy A. Reed became Mrs. 3ilas B. Woolson.When the guests had assembled to the number of thirty-sis, Mr. and Mrs. Woolson were summoned and were greatly surprised and touched at meeting so many old and dear friends.A notable feature of the occasion was the uncorking of a bottle of peach brandy which had been presented to Mr. and Mrs. Woolson shortly after their marriage with a request that it be kept for this occasion.A photographer was sent for who took a picture of the entire party. Those present from abroad were. Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Rosebraugh, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Rosebraugh and Mrs. Wells, of Hebron; Mr6. May J ames, of Columbus; Mrs. Reid, of Granville; Mrs. Mary Kendrick, Mrs. Dora Robbins and Miss Minnie Fleming, of Portland, Ind.; Mrs. Craig and son, of Sandusky.In the evening another party of about forty guests assembled and sent again for Mr. and Mrs. Woolson.
