Wadsworth of Rml To Obwne Auherary.(Special Correspondence.)Milan. 111., Jane 13.—One hundred friends and relative* living in the lower end of Rock Island county. gathered at the home of Mi. and Mrs. S. R. Wadsworth of Rural. Saturday evening, to help them celebrate their fifth wedding anni?er-Isary. The guests took Mr. and I Mrs. Wadsworth by surprise.A program of games was enjoyed on the front lawn of the Wadsworth home. Miss Iona Carlson, sister of Mrs. W’adsworth, who resides at Elkhorc, Wls.. gave several vocal solos. Miss Carlson j drove to Rural with her mother, Mrs. S. J. Carlson. Miss Pauline Dei Vore and Mrs. Claude Carlson and I daughter Margaret, all of Elkhora. Mrs. Claude Carlson also visited with relatives in Reynolds.The guests brought the lunch with them which was served late in the evening. Mrs. J. L. Normoyle on behalf of the guests presented Mr. and Mrs. Wadsworth with a * purse of money.
