A LONG TIE MMR. AND MRS. H. V. CHILDERS CELEBRATE 58th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY LAST TUESDAY.Last Tuesday was the 58th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. H. V. Childers and the spent the day with friends at the farm home of James Arnold west of the city. Mr. and Mrs. Childers are recognized as being among the few remaining sturdy pioDeer residents of the county whose hearts were ever in the right place and who have always kept the doors of their home open to those in need or distress. Mrs. Childers has been an invalid for years, being a sufferer from paralysis, and this was her first time out of her home in this city for over two years. Of the -five children born to them four are bow living—John, Will, Isaac and Mrs. Cecelia Mahna, who resides at home with her parents.Mrs. Childers is ten months older than her husband, who was 81 last October while she will be 82 next December. Long may they live is the desire of all.8
