Win*hip of the Beverly yacht club, a verdict In favor of the defendant having been returned by the superior court in Brockton last week. The suit was brought to recover $400 paid on account for the building of the 24-foot cat Ulula. The plaintiff refused to take the boat, Claiming that she did not come up to contract requirements In the matter of speed, etc. In the lower court at Mid-dieboro the decision was in the plaintiff’s favor, but on appeal to the superior court It was reversed. The Uluia was subsequently sold by Huckins to Charles Mains of the Savin Hill yacht club, who renamed her the Yankee, and has entered her in the second cabin class of the Y. R. A.
