CLYDE C. CARLIN OF ANGOLA* DELIVERS ADDRESS.x£The Order of Odd Fellows Hold Service* in Memory of Deceased Members.Sunday was an ideal day for Memorial services and the exercises at Lake View cemetery under the auspices of Kendallville Lodge No. 316, I. O. O. F. of this city were largely attended. During the morning the committee on decoration of graves of deceased members visited the cemetery and decorated the last resting places of both. Odd Fellows and Daughters of Rebekah. A list of the graves thus decorated will follow below.At 1:30 p. m., the members of the order and friends met at the lodge room and the procession headed by the Kendallville City Band was formed and marched to Lake View. Over one hundred Odd Fellows were In line of march and there was a long line of carriages also. The number of persons in attendance at the services was one of the largest ever gathered for a similar service in Lake View cemetery.The program began promptly at 2:30 p. m. with a selection by the City band. 'Prayer was offered b Chas. Lemmon, chaplain of the order. A quartette composed of Messrs. Kinnison, Lemmon, Triplette and Golden rendered selections In most pleasing manner.Hon. Clyde C. Carlin was introduced to the audience by C. W. Kim-mel, who presided, and delivered the address for the occasion. Mr. Carlin is a pleasing and fluent speaker and his address was full of the fraternity spirit of Odd Fellowship. He paid a touching and beautiful tribute to the deceased brothers and sisters and spoke in enthusiastic terms of the meaning and scope of this fraternal order.
