The transfer was ordered at the recent meeting ot the Roard o 1 Managers and was approved yes ter day by the Governor. The men will be chained in a bunch and guarded with Winchesters until Michigan City is reached.The following! s a list ot the men who are to make the journey: John Kelly, who has served two terms at Joliet and one at Michigan City;Fred Filer, a noted Indianapolis safe-blower, who has served five terms in Indiana's two penal institutions; Tim Ferriter, an Indianapolis burgler, who has uone five terms and is a brotner ot the maD who recently killed an JLndianapoli-officer in cold blood; John wlley, b h ee-term man sentenced from Vevay; Oscar Fisher, who has done time in Ohio, Michigan City and the Jefferson yille institution, his last offence being the theft ol a cow and a bic^ -cle, an officer catuhing him as he was riding the machine and leading the animal. John Thompson and John Miller, both of whom are oyer age; Wm. Eli and John Hulen, both ot whom are hopelessly insane, the j n it latter being deluded in believing I be i that he is uov.
