GOLDEN WEDDING CELEBRANTS — On the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary, Mr, and Mrs. Joseph Schleh of St. Nazianz renewed their marriage vows at an 8 a.m. Sunday Mass at St. Gregory Church, St. Nazianz. A family supper with 150 relatives was served at the St. Gregory dining hall. Mrs. Schleh, the former Leone Garthoffner, was born in 1901 while her husband was born in 1900 in rural Kiel. They were married on June 12, 1919, at St. Gregory parish by the Rev. Eustace Goerlich. Attendants at the wedding were Mrs. Alice Schroeder, Sheboygan; Mrs. William Groh, New Holstein; John Schleh, Sheboygan; and Frank Mailman, Chicago, now deceased. The Schlebs have five children, Roman of New Holstein; Gerald of St. Nazianz; Miss Fay Schleh of St. Nazianz; Mrs. Jerry Ryan of Valders;' and Mrs. James Schneli of Sheboygan. There are also 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Schleh has operated a meat market at St. Nazianz for 30 years.
