Wis., June 8—Special: The fiftieth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Han Stanton was celebrated at their country home Wednesday ; S evening, where their relatives had j G i planned a surprise party in honor of • the occasion. They received many beautiful gifts. The gift from the children was a set of gold decorated Haviland china dishes.Both Mr. and Mrs. Stanton are 72 i I j years of age, both are well and ac-1 tive and take a keen interest in the life of the community in which they ; | live. A very interesting program i e whs planned and given by the guests. I Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. j* ijS. A. Stanton; Mr. and Mrs. Clem • Calloway and two sons; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Stanton; Mr. and Mrs.- j E. Stanton; Mr. and Mrs. VergeStanton. Miss Nellie, Genevieve Edge, Kenneth Jackson, Rev. and h Mrs. R. F. Merrlt of Platteville.
