Rev. W. J. Kirwin 30 Years a Priest^-Corpus Christi Pro-cessions Held.nev, r r. 111« as mu»ici ul ucic-monies. A novena in honor of St.Rev. William J. Kirwin, O. M. I., pastor of the Sacred Heart church, yesterday celebrated the 30th anniversary of his ordination and more than 700 children of the parish assisted in the observance by receiving Holy Communion. Fr. Kirwin was ordained at Ottawa, Canada. He served for three years as pastor of St. Patrick’s church in McCook, Neb., and for 11 years was at Holy Angels church In Buffalo. He succeeded Rev. D A. Sullivan. O. M. I., as pastor of the Sacred Heart church here.Processions in honor of the Corpus Christi were held yesterday morning in several of the Roman Catholic churches of Lowell. In the majority of instances, members of sodalities and the sanctuary choirs participated in the processions.Confessions will be heard in most of the churches on Thursday in preparation for the observance of the Feast of the Sacred Heart on Friday when there will be special masses in most of the churches.St. Patrick’s.The early mass at St. Patrick'sREV.
