The celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. James R* Crooks, Elm street, was a very happy event. Many of their friends participated in a reception daring the afternoon and Id the evening a dinner party was held for tha members of the family and a number of guests. Woodruff, nee Myrtle Crooks, of Detroit, Mr. and Mrs S. Pillars, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Kunkle and Miss Martha Fonner, of Decatur, Rev. and Mrs. C M. Crooks, of Brockton. Maas . Mr. and Mrs. James Mclntoish and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Smith, of East Liverpool. Mr. and Mrs. V. O. Hickman, of Pittsburg, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas K Crooks, Mr. and Mrs Clair L. Crooks. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Callahan, Mr, and Mrs. Ira Fallers, Mrs. Ellen McCoy, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gilliland, T. C. Lepley, W. J. Lepley and family.
