St. Catherine Church.Announcement is made by Rev. Joseph A. Tieken of the dedication of the splendid new St. Catherine Church, on Sunday, July 1, and of plans for a handsome new school building on which work will be started immediately after the dedication. The handsome church of stone, which will cost $175,-000, exclusive of the furniture, is now rapidly nearing completion and is a monument to the zeal and devotion of the Catholics of Westwood.The school is to be of the same material as the church and will be made to conform with the latter edifice in every detail. It will be built at the rear of the old church and connecting with it, the whole forming a âTâ, with the church building as the central building. The tower of the old church building will be pulled down to make the building conform to the whole plan. The school is to be two stories and will be 86 by 28 feet, containing four class rooms, and recreation rooms. It will cost about $40,000.
