ObituarySTEWART B. HEDDLES.The funeral, of Stewart B. Heddles,who died at the Mayo hospital in Rochester, Minn., following an operation,May 29th, took place from his home inJanesville Saturday afternoon. He wasborn in England, of Scotch-Irish ancestry, sixty-three years ago, coming toJanesville as a boy. He first enteredthe tobacco business with S. F. Bainesin that city and later continuing thebusiness by himself. Prominent in social and civil life, he gathered abouthim a host of friends who are greatlypained of his'departure. He served asalderman and also as mayor of Janesville. Besides a sorrowing wife heleaves to mourn his loss one daughter,Mrs. Stanley G. Dunwiddie of Janesville. The pall bearers for the funeralwere E. M. Calkins, M. F. Greene, F.S. Baines, George Rumrill, WilliamSchrode and Arley Magee.A delegation of tobacco dealers fromthis city attended the funeral.! 1
