MullendPslt;Mr. and Mrs. Mullen mark50th wedding anniversaryDALLASMr and Mrs.Hugh J Mullen celebrated their 50th wedding anniversaryrecently and their family was» tMrs. Fran DeCrostaMrs. DeCrostaretires from DunneDALLAS— Mrs. Fran DeCrosta. registrar at Dunne High School, is retiring at theend of this 1969-70 schoolterm, announced Brother Adnan Gaudin, S C ., principal.Mrs. DeCrosta has worked atishop Dunne since the srhonlwas opened in 1961. Only three of the original staff remainMrs DeCrosta is the wife of Bob DeCrosta. athletic director and head football coach at Lynch. They have four children, Julie, Robert Jr.. David and Tracv.bly was held at which time the students surprised Mrs. DeCrosta with a special programin her honor. She was presented a bouquet of roses and heard speeches by a member of the faculty, by an alumnus, by the Student Council president, as well as the schoolprincipal who presented her with a special plaque in recognition of her devotion and workfor the schoolThe day was then named “Mrs. Fran DeCrosta Day.»♦reunited for the first time in 21 years. In celebration of theirwedding the couple renewed marriage vows before Monsignor John T Gulczynski in the convent chapel of St Thomas Aquinas Parish Mass was concelebrated by their sons, Father Bernard J len. C.PP.S. and Father Charles F Mullen, C.PP.S.and attended by the immediaUfamily.Mr and Mrs Mullen are former residents of Indianapolis, Ind. where they were married at Holy Angels Church on May 19, 1920. The Mullens haveresided in Dallas for the past30 years.Guests at the reunion dinner were their children and son-m-law: Father Bernard J Mullen, C.PP.S. of Sacred Heart College, Wichita, Kan ; Brother Andrew Mullen, C.PP.S. of St, Charles Seminary, Carthag ena, Ohio; Father Charles FMullen.
