4 Virginia 'Riders'Start Test JourneyRICHMOND (AP — Four Vir-ginia union University, students clambered aboard southbound buses here last night and headed on divergent freedom ride routes toward Jackson, Miss.. Charles Sherrod, the Negro ministerial student who led last year's sit-ins here, left on a Trail-ways bus at 7:30 p.m. (EDT). He said he was hound for Atlanta first — and then to Jackson.If so, it was likely he would cross Alabama, where a federal judge has enjoined the freedom riders” to call off their protest for the time being.Three other riders boarded a bus about 11 p. m. (EDT) for Nashville, Term., where, they said, they will a group headed for Jackson to test segregated facilities. They did not intend to go into Alabama, they said.A fifth would-be rider from Richmond did not show up.The other three freedom riders” were identified ’as Reginald M. Green of Washington; Obediah Sims of Pittsburgh and Raymond Randolph of New York City.
