As Ur. and Mrs. Garret Brusse resided for many years on af ram here one mile 'northeast of our village and still have many acquaintances and relatives here we copy the following from “Tho Baldwin Bulletin, of St. Croiux County, Wisconsin, which will be of interest to many in this county.50th Wedding AnniversaryMr. and Mrs. G, Brusse celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at tehir home in this village, Wednesday, May 21, at which time they entertained their brothers and sisters and their children, making in all about fifty present. A sumptuous wedding dinner was served at six o'clock and the occasion was a very enjoyable one in every way.This estimable couple was married at Gibbsville, May 21, 1873, an dresided in Sheboygan county until 1SG0, when they moved here the village, where they have since resided. He sold his farm six years ago and retired from farming at that time. Their five children: Mrs. George H. Heebink, and John of this place, Mrs, Herman Wessels of Woodville, Mrs. Egbert Heebink of Beloit, and Will Brusse of Nashville Tenn,. were all present to participate in the festivities.Those present from out-of-town besides the above were: Mr. and. Mrs. Nick Brusse of Oostburg, John Tenpas of Hingham, Mr. and Mrs. William Hyink of Milwaukee and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kaplers of Eau Claire. Their many friends and
